Jen with kids at Olasiti

Jennifer Gerwing recently spent time volunteering at the Olasiti Orphanage in Arusha, Tanzania and then enjoyed a safari in Tarangire and the Serengeti: "I was able to bring two suitcases full of books, pencils, bags, toys, money, etc.  It was unbelievable to watch the children's gratitude when they received the donated items.  Something as simple as a pencil brought happiness to these children..."Read Jen's story here.

Digging up crocs nestThat I, with my black hole of a brain, can remember these wildlife sightings illustrates how powerful they were. We strive to help our clients have their own unforgettable wildlife experiences, and we know from all the feedback we get, that we almost always succeed. But where to start? Here are a few of our personal favorites...

Why Buy Travel Insurance?

Many of our travelers ask why they should buy travel insurance. Many reasons include trip cancellation, trip interruption, lost luggage, medical evacuation and more. But, sometimes the best reason to purchase insurance is the one thing we don't plan for!

Lyndsay Harshman, Director of Sales & Marketing at AAC, shares her story on why you should purchase trip insurance:

"I highly recommend that each of our travelers purchase travel insurance. Several years ago my husband and I - we were both in excellent health at the time - traveled to Tanzania to celebrate a wedding anniversary on our dream safari. Scott was struck down with food poisoning in Nairobi and we never even made it to Tanzania. TravelEx covered our entire trip, plus the medical expenses we accrued while in Nairobi!"
