After realizing their dream of living and working in Africa, Kent Redding and Kelly McElroy returned to the United States to open Africa Adventure Consultants. Our team has over 43 years combined experience working in and planning trips to Africa. We are the winners of the 2004 Tanzania Tourist Board Humanitarian Award for our support of local peoples and projects. In 2006 and 2007, President Kent Redding was named by Conde Nast Traveler as one of the top travel specialists in the United States. In 2008 and 2009, Africa Adventure Consultants was named by National Geographic Adventure as one of the "Best Outfitters on Earth," and was most recently named to the magazine's Best New Trips for 2009 list.
