Greetings!
Spring is officially here and beautiful blooms are everywhere. Time to get the garden together for those longer days ... and I've got just the thing to celebrate spring! My first studio show of the year and you are invited.

Blue Moon Gallery Hosts the Valley Sculpture Artists |
You only have a couple more weeks to pick up some fabulous art for your collection at the Blue Moon Gallery, 2353 Albatross Way, Sacramento, CA, 95815. There are 77 amazing art sculptures by 44 phenomenal Valley Sculpture Artists. You can even purchase my award-winning "Divalicious" clay and recycled steel sculpture, which can be mounted on a wall or made into a freestanding sculpture. This piece is great outdoors too ... The gallery is open Wednesday through Saturday, noon to 5 PM. |

Garden and Wine Art Show in Kanika's Studio |
 My creative juices have been flowing like crazy lately and I'd love to share the fun with you. I would like to invite you to my first Garden Art Studio Show to check out several new artworks, such as: very cool wine goblets (left) platters, candle holders, African figurines, recycled steel and clay outdoor sculptures, goddess art, steel flowers, and much much more.
Coming to my studio allows you to peruse a good deal of the Kanika art collection in a comfortable setting. Plenty of chocolate and munchies will round out the experience. And I am offering you 20% off any one sculpture during the studio show.
Location: Near Laguna Blvd. and Franklin Blvd. Please contact me for directions.

Goddess Art and Paintings at the LGBT Center
|
From April 12th until the end of the month, Luis Guzman will show his wonderful paintings and I will display my Goddess sculptures at the Gay and Lesbian Center, 1927 L Street, Sacramento, CA, 95816. To avoid the Second Saturday crowds, you are encouraged to come during the Art Preview Night on April 12th, 5:30 to 8:00 PM. Or come during the energetic Second Saturday Art Walk on April 14th from 6-9 PM.

April 28th:
Lincoln Wine Fest, 1-5 PM
|
 The Lincoln Rotary Club is offering a at Beermann's Plaza, 5th and F Streets, in Lincoln, CA. The Lincoln Wine Fest brings local wineries to downtown Lincoln. In cooperation with local businesses, wineries will be pouring some of their special vintages at selected locations around town. Sample wines and see interesting and unique stores featuring arts, crafts, designs, and more! Check in at Beermans Plaza, and for only $30 per person you receive an etched LWF wine glass to keep and a passport to all the participating tasting stations. Local restaurants will serve appetizers paired with the wine. The wineries will also have a sales booth at Beermans Plaza for those who can't stop at a taste and want to purchase bottles or cases. Come back and shop the fine arts vendors, see if you have won the raffle and enjoy live music. I will be selling my brand new wine goblets and other wine-related artworks.

The Muse On Overdrive
| Do you wake up full of vim and vigor with positive thoughts about making the day the best it can be? Not always? Well, I am having too much fun these days as a newly-retired person! As soon as I wake up, another idea hits my brain. Shall we try making wine goblets? Rain sticks? A bunch more African figurines? Colorful pottery bowls? Large clay outdoor sculptures? More garden flowers? More recycled steel, clay and glass kinetic/moving yard art? The muse is on overdrive ... and I love it!
