Inviting U to the Crocker Art Museum on Jan 16th, 2:30-4:30
|
Please join us for a celebration of mud cloth. You don't know what mud cloth is? Then come and join us in the first floor of the original Crocker building and learn all about mud cloth, Adinkra symbols, and clever ways of using the cloth. I am proud to have my sculpture greet you at the door, welcoming you into the show.

The country will celebrate the great humanitarian, Martin Luther King Jr., this Monday. Join us for the King March, starting at 8 AM at the Oak Park Community Center (3425 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.) and ending at the Convention Center where there will be an art show, health presentations, entertainment, and much MORE!
I will be at the Kuumba Collective Art Gallery table at the Convention Center with some jewelry sculptures, hearts, and maybe a larger piece or two. Other artists will have beaded jewelry, cards, prints, and other original artwork.

Please Tell Me What You Think of My New Website
|
I am SOOOO EXCITED to unveil my brand new website, www.KanikaMarshall.com, and I really want your opinion of it: * How easy is it to use? * Can you easily see the artwork pictures and information? * What do you think of the Artist at Work section? * Does it appear easy to purchase the work? * Do you have additional questions for the FAQ page?
I built my first website in 1997 using Microsoft Publisher, then changed to Microsoft Frontpage in about 2002, then had to switch to Adobe GoLive in 2007 when I purchased a Macintosh computer. It had become more and more cumbersome to keep it updated, so I scoured the net for template-driven, artist-friendly websites. Voila! Artspan.com! So please check out my new site and feel free to give your honest feedback.
If you choose to click on the "Notify me of new art by this artist" link at the bottom of every page, I will send you a free piece of hand-sculpted clay jewelry with any online purchase. Clicking on that link will allow you to be the first to receive pictures of my newest work. Yes! |
