Greetings!
This summer has been so wonderful! The tomatoes are ripening, crepe myrtle trees are starting to bloom, and people are taking their vacations. We just returned from an inspiring trip to Shelter Cove on the Lost Coast of California, a few hours north of San Francisco. Redwoods, ocean sounds, black sand beach. Refreshed and renewed! But it is good to be back in the garden and becoming more inspired about creating art. And that's what this quickie newsletter is about . . .

Artist Talk at the Blue Moon Gallery on Saturday, July 24th, Noon to 3 PM
 There is only one week left . . . .
I would love to invite you to the Blue Moon Gallery this Saturday, July 24th, for an artist talk regarding the current "Legacy" art show of Mary Marshall's watercolors and my mixed-media indoor-outdoor sculptures. The gallery is located at 2353 Albatross Way (take the El Camino exit east from Business 80, turn right at Albatross, turn right at Silica, and turn right to enter the Blue Moon parking driveway.
On Saturday, I will chat with you about the inspirations for the works, the  process and the technique for making my brand new Garden Nymphs, Garden Divas, lighted sculptures, and other metal and clay art sculptures. And beam with pride about my mom's vibrant paintings and how she made it possible for her children to become creative beings. There will be a slide show and a few goodies to munch on while you walk among and between the large sculptures and outside in the lovely courtyard. I will give individual tours and/or
speak with groups of people from noon to 3 PM, as you desire.
 Feel free to ask any questions you might have at any time while I am there from noon to 3 PM this Saturday. You do not have to be there the entire three hours that I am there, and the gallery will be open until 5 PM on Saturday if that is more convenient for you.
But if you cannot make it to the gallery this Saturday, please feel free to come during normal gallery hours, Wednesday through Saturday, noon to 5 PM. Or you may call 916-920-2444 to make an appointment with owner, Carol Brewer, to see the show at other time periods.
The show closes at 5 PM on Friday, July 30th. Carol and I would love to help you take a little piece of the show home with you so please let us know what calls to your soul . . .
