Fuzzy Logic header

Greetings!

As we remember and celebrate our country's Independence, I am pleased to invite you to help honor my mother, Mary Marshall Watercolors, at the Blue Moon Gallery this month in our joint "Legacy" art show.

And I also am excited to show you the artwork of 25 local artists at the Patris S12 Gallery and a dozen African American artists at the Kuumba Collective gallery.  So in between the fireworks, camping, vacationing, and relaxing, do feel free to satisfy your creative yearnings at our local art galleries.

Are You Bold and Beautiful?

Kanika and Layers of Life sculptures at Patris S12 Gallery "Bold and Beautiful 25 Featured" is an understatement for the work being shown at the Patris S12 Gallery in Sacramento, at 1200 S Street. Gallery owner Patris and curator Gayle Rappaport-Weiland commented that it is invigorating to work with a team of artists that bring such a high level of intuitive energy to the playing field. Showcasing outstanding regional artwork and collectable works from artists all in one location. Let this creative energy rub off on you at the Second Saturdays receptions from 6 pm to 10 pm. The show will continue through the Second Saturday Art Walk on Sept 11.

Here is a video of the show setup and the lovely finished product.  If you cannot come during the Second Saturday art walk, feel free to call Patris at (916) 397-8958 to arrange another time when you can see the show.

Fresh New Clay & Metal Works

Garden Nymph at S12 GalleryHmmm . . . I was supposed to start making lighter-weight artwork, but metal has caught my fancy.  Mainly to be a support for my clay work, metal allows the art pieces to grace your serenity gardens outside, as well as inside in your home or office.

Many new clay, metal, and light pieces will be unveiled in July at the Blue Moon Gallery's "Legacy" art show, featuring my sculptures and my mother's watercolors, and at the Patris S12 Gallery, 1200 S Street. Here is a glimpse just for you and more can be seen on my Facebook Fan page.

See more new works in my blog.

Second Saturday: Keeping it Cool with Kuumba
Marshall Bailey's Mudcloth Creations

July 10th is the exciting Second Saturday Art Walk. Join Kuumba for Iced Tea and Art later in the evening to keep us cool while we enjoy the art and music. The gallery will open for visitors at 5 pm and stay open until 10 pm for the Second Saturdays of July, August, and September.

July 24th has quilting (1-3 PM) and gemstone wrapping (3-5) classes.

Channel your inner "cool" and join us at the gallery.  More information is available from the Kuumba Collective Fan Page.
