Greetings!
It's almost the start of summer! And there's a lot going on in my studio! So much to create, so little time. Like trying to develop several special pieces for my upcoming featured artist show in July at the Blue Moon Gallery and at the Patris S-12 Gallery. And trying to create some interesting pieces for this weekend's Art Fiesta and June 12th Elk Grove Artist Show. And updating my website and blogs. We'll talk about bits and pieces of this items in this newsletter.

52nd Annual Art Fiesta on June 5th and 6th at Town & Country Village
Featuring art from over 150 fine artisans: painting, sculpture, jewelry, pottery, glass, photography, and more! Where? Town and Country Village, Marconi and Fulton, Sacramento, CA, 10 AM to 4 PM both days. Please come by and see me in space #55, across from the Chocolate Shoppe, around the corner from Noah's Bagels. I'm dying to show you some of my newest clay and metal work for your viewing pleasure, as well as lots of goddess-inspired art, jewelry, and one or two of my 6' Warrior Diva sculptures, as well as a variety of other one-of-a-kind sculptures. Father's Day is right around the corner and you could find something special for the dad in your life (or your dad friends). |
 
Elk Grove Artists Celebrate Spring on June 12th, 10 AM to 4 PM
The
Elk Grove Artists (EGA) group invites you to enjoy a day of fine art as you
stroll the tree-lined corridors of the "Laguna Pointe" Shopping Center, 9261 Laguna Springs Blvd. Elk Grove, CA, from 10 AM to 4 PM. I will be in space #22.
This is an exciting new location for us, behind BJs restaurant, just off Laguna Blvd. and Laguna Springs Drive. We are
proud to present this opportunity for local and regional artists to
connect with a growing community. Proceeds from the event benefit the EGA's
Youth Art Scholarship Program. The event is free to the public. NOTE: Most artists (including me) will be raffling off a special art gift.

Fresh New Clay&Metal Works
 Hmmm . . . I was supposed to start making lighter-weight artwork, but metal has caught my fancy. Mainly to be a support for my clay work, metal allows the art pieces to grace your serenity gardens outside, as well as your home or office. I just fired up my new welder for the first time last weekend - oh the power!!!
Many new clay, metal, and light pieces will be unveiled in July at the Blue Moon Gallery's "Legacy" art show featuring my sculptures and my mother, Mary Marshall's, watercolors. Here is a glimpse just for you and more can be seen on my Facebook page.
