Greetings!
I just found out that the Blue Moon Gallery will be closed until February 14th. I have been asked to submit one sculpture for the February show (Kiburi Kneeling) and several more for the May show featuring women artists. I will have a featured artist show of my outdoor art with the watercolor artwork of my mother, Mary Marshall, in July 2010!Oh yes! I just created a page on Facebook and included lots of brand new "How to" videos on making various types of sculptures. Do take a look and feel free to join my Facebook page if you like. Let me know what you like and what you would like to see there.

Showing at Blue Moon Gallery (Feb 14th)
I had the opportunity to meet with enthusiastic Blue Moon Gallery owner, Carol Brewer, last weekend. She invited me to bring several three-dimensional sculptures to the February art show. Please stop by the gallery this month to see Kiburi Kneeling.
The gallery is lovely and has the art of many well-known regional fine artists, including Ken Potter and Kandi Thompson. The Blue Moon Gallery is located at 2353 Albatross Way, off El Camino Blvd., near I-80. I'll be popping by for a short visit during the Second Saturday art walk on February 14th, sometime between 6 and 9 PM. Hope to see you there.

For Your Valentine!
There's always something new rattling around in my brain. I was recently given the opportunity to display my work in a Valentine/romance-related art show. But I didn't have anything that really met the criteria.
As mentioned in last month's newsletter, I developed some wearable art Valentine Goddesses housed in a fabric-covered picture frame. But I wanted MORE to add to the collection. One morning, it hit me: make delicate-looking Valentine wall sculptures!
The 5" - 8" one-of-a-kind hearts may be purchased during February for $20 to $30, and the wearable art goddesses for $125 at:
Pinky's Hair Salon, 5379 H Street, Sacto. and Sunlight of the Spirit, 2314 J Street, Sacto.
The hearts will also be available on my website.
Please check out my Spirituality and Art Blog to learn how these cute hearts were made and to see more examples of them.
