GREETINGS FROM NORTHERN N.H.!

mosquito and no-see-um for domination of the north country. Still, bugs are a small price to pay, for all of the beautiful days, great fishing and relaxing nights around the campfire. Yes, summer's here and we're glad it is, even if it's only for a short time. N.H. Fish & Game has been stocking Back Lake, the river and many of the outer ponds, so the fishing's been good and river flows have come down to summertime levels. The Trophy Stretch has been giving up some good fish - Tim Poole caught this beauty late last week. Keep checking our Fishing Blog for the latest scoop on the fishing for our people.
The wildlife viewing has been good too - moose, deer and foxes up on Route 3, eagles, osprey and loons on Back Lake, and even a few bears on the logging roads have been seen. This is also when we see newborns with their moms around the roads, so please be careful when you're driving around town. We have some openings for the summer season, and don't forget to check on our Last Minute Specials if you can manage to get away for some time up here.
