Happy Holidays Friends,

Horses for the Spirit is pleased to announce that we received a $2,000 grant from the Junior League of Reno to support progamming in 2011. We are thrilled to receive support from an organization doing great work in our community. If you aren't familiar with the Junior League of Reno, please visit their website.

December is a month of behind-the-scenes work for Horses for the Spirit intermixed with celebrating the holidays with family and friends. Look for more updates in January about plans for 2011.

Horses for the Spirit offers Equine Assisted Learning programs to youth ages 12-19 in Washoe County. Our EAL programs utilize horses as part of the teaching team and offer experiential and problem-based learning opportunities
mphasizing positive life and social skills. Our client list includes Social Services, McGee Center, Kids Kottage and No Child Left Behind.
