Our spring programs have come to an end and we're now gearing up for a summer full of events where we can get out in the community, meet new folks and talk about what we're doing.

 

Although we are not likely to have any programs again until the fall, there are many opportunities to help Horses for the Spirit with the other crucial activities of a growing organization.

 

For those of you who are unable to volunteer on a regular basis, now is the time to sign up for an event that doesn't require an on-going commitment.

 

If you enjoy working directly with the kids and horses, we encourage you to show your support for the programs by choosing at least one volunteer opportunity this summer in which to participate. There is no one better than you to work a booth and talk to the public about what we do because of your passion for and experience in working in our programs.

 

There are two opportunities we really want to push as a Thank You to the Reno Rodeo Foundation for their generous support of Horses for the Spirit. We have an entry in the Reno Rodeo Parade on June 20th and we're also asking as many people to join us as possible for the special recognition night at the rodeo on Sunday, June 21st.
