Dear ,
For 85 years the Sisters of St. Margaret have been committed to the children and people of Haiti. Education is a precious privilege and is not accessible to everyone. Many children and young people are unable to pay the minimal fees to attend school. We established a Scholarship Program providing financial resources for those children in danger of having to drop out of school because of their inability to pay. Right now there are 55 full or half scholarship students and many more that we partially help. With tuition ranging from $250 to $1000 per child per year, the Scholarship Program has become a major priority of our ministry in Haiti.
The Sisters help everyone they can, regardless of their religion or social status. The Scholarship Program has helped over 1000 children through the years. Our sponsored children also have a good history of passing the government exams.
These children need your help. The economic situation in Haiti has made this Scholarship Program more important than ever. The future of Haiti depends heavily on the education of its children. Your gift, no matter what amount, can give children the opportunity for an education. Please give a child a chance by supporting our Scholarship Program.
We are most grateful for the outpouring of love and support we have received over the past two years. Your generous donations have been put to good work allowing our Sisters to continue their ministry. We are truly blessed to have so many who have opened their hearts by supporting our mission and ministry in Haiti.
Thank you for your generosity and please keep the Sisters and the people of Haiti in your prayers.
Faithfully yours,

Adele Marie Ryan, S.S.M. Carolyn H. Darr, S.S.M.
