The EEA Student Orchestra have been rehearsing since early July in preparation for this incredible opportunity with the greatest violinist of our time. No Photos or Video during the rehearsal.

RELIEF PRINTMAKING WITH LINOCUTS

In this workshop participants will learn a variety of cutting techniques, and how to transfer, cut, ink and print on paper. Creativity and ideas will result in original, handmade reproducible prints. During this presentation, we will discuss the creative process by focusing on sources of inspiration and the photographic execution of an idea. We will explain ways to draw inspiration, how to gather a creative team when necessary, techniques of lighting, lens choices, as well as some post-processing tips that keep the Creative process alive. Whether you're capturing personal images or producing images for a photographic business, finding new sources of inspiration for your work is an ongoing process. The Perlman Music Program and Southold High School will present students of the Summer Music School in an orchestra and chorus concert at Southold High School, located at 420 Oaklawn Avenue in Southold, NY. The Summer Music School curriculum includes rigorous study of the orchestral and choral repertoire, and this performance allows students to share their studies with the North Fork community. CALL FOR ARTISTS: Rendering a New Home for the Patchogue Art Museum The Patchogue Art Museum (PAM!) is seeking renderings in any medium of its newfound home - a historic 101-year-old building in downtown Patchogue. The ornate two-story white marble building was constructed in 1911 as Union Savings Bank and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
