Instructor: Alexandra BinderWhat's more perfect in the grand rooms of Brecknock Hall than ballroom and latin dancing? The course is divided into 7-week segments. For beginners, or as a warm up for experienced dancers, learn basic steps and get your body moving during the first hour. The second segment is reserved for participants with previous dance experience. EEA Gallery is Collecting FOUND OBJECTS
for Upcoming Gallery Show  Any items that are old or unused, lost or found, are being collected at the EEA Gallery for artists to choose from and incorporate into a work of art for this summer's "Found Objects" Show - items will be used to create a piece of art. Artists are invited to choose from the collection of items at the Gallery to create their pieces. Items can be dropped-off during EEA Gallery hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 10AM to 4PM. EEA Gallery, 133 East Main Street, Riverhead NY Please note: Items cannot exceed two feet in any direction. Any items dropped off must be labeled with a name of the person dropping them off. Items will not be returned. Not all items dropped-off will be used in the creation of artwork. For Katy's Courage
4 PM The Bay Street Theater, Sag Harbor A concert to benefit Katy's Courage Fund & Pediatric Cancer Research. A community of student musicians coming together to celebrate the life Katy Stewart, who lost her battle to a rare form of liver cancer at 12 years young, but not before she had captured the hearts of so many in the community. Performances by: Maxfield Panish, violin; Leo Panish, violin; Chris Beroes-Haigis, cello; Emmanuelle Benard, piano; Emily Verneuille, clarinet; Benjamin Pereira, violin; Grant Kusick, guitar; Ella Patrick, piano; and special guest Nathaniel Sassoon, piano and voice. Suggested Donation: $10. All proceeds go to Katy's Courage Fund, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to education and support for families and children through scholarships, support for counseling, and pediatric cancer research.

Plein Air Workshop
TIM HORN: Bright Sun, Clean Color
9AM - 4:30PM South Street Gallery, Greenport This 3-day plein air workshop is geared toward beginner/intermediate and intermediate painters, working in oil. The primary focus will be on how to convey the sense of strong sunlight in your paintings by clarifying and pushing the values. If you're out painting on a sunny day, that sense of light should be clearly communicated in your paintings, whether you're painting a boat, a figure on the beach or a building in the landscape. We will also work on achieving clean color in our paintings, and utilize value patterns to aid in developing successful compositions. There will be discussions on materials, scene selection and brushwork. Tim Horn will do a demonstration painting each day, and will work with students individually on their paintings throughout the day as we paint outdoors. Workshop fee - $385. Workshop limit - 14.
