Consumer Free Choice fundraiser


Be sure to register for two special events to be held this Friday at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota.


1:00-5:00 p.m.  Grassroots Training Session
Led by Mark McAfee and Tim Wightman, this session is for anyone interested in protecting access to nutritious foods of your choice. Discover how to cultivate awareness and effect change in your community and beyond.  $20 suggested donation (not mandatory)
 

7:00-9:00 p.m.  Fundraiser with Mark McAfee
  Come early for the silent auction that begins at 6 p.m. Support the Foundation for Consumer Free Choice. If you value wholesome, local, nutritious foods, your choices may be eroding! Learn how to collectively organize to overcome the challenges to food choice, and discover why raw milk is key to the local food movement.  $35 per person (Students $25 with valid student ID)


Healthy food matters to us all, and now is the time to become educated, energized and mobilized!

The Foundation for Consumer Free Choice is a Minnesota group of consumers dedicated to securing, and in some cases reclaiming, our right to obtain the foods we each think are best for ourselves and our families. FCFC has applied for 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. 

FACT:   A south Minneapolis members-only food warehouse is raided by the Minnesota Department of Agriculture and the building's products are embargoed. The warehouse had been in operation for two years with no complaints or illnesses.  Read "Food Freedom Under Attack in Minnesota"

FACT:   A Bloomington family's home is raided by police and Minnesota Department of Agriculture officials. The mother is summoned to a hearing.  Read "Minnesota: MDA Considering Criminal Prosecution of Consumer"

 FACT:   A farmer's delivery truck is blockaded in a Minnetonka driveway by a Minnesota Department of Agriculture official who has no warrant. Customers who come looking for their deliveries have their names and license plate numbers taken by the police. FACT:  Minnesota was once renowned for "The Milk Cure" at our own Mayo Clinic, where raw, unadulterated, grass-fed milk was used to successfully heal a multitude of ailments with no drugs or other medical intervention.
