Legislature Back in Session this Week
Both the Senate and Assembly will be session this week with busy calendars. One of the more high profile issues the Assembly will consider legislation that expands the Milwaukee School Choice Program by removing the enrollment cap on the program. Also, both the Senate and Assembly are expected to also consider voter ID legislation this week, which could lead to a contentious debate.
Senate Tentative Calendar for Tuesday, May 10
The full Senate will consider the appointment of Former State Representative Phil Montgomery of Green Bay to the Public Service Commission.

SB-50. Wind Energy Rules (JCRAR) Wind energy rules.
SB-59. Piers/Wharves (Kedzie) ) Extends the deadline for registration of grandfathered piers to April 1, 2012.
SB-62. Bass Tournaments (Moulton) Culling of bass in fishing tournaments.
SB-72. Bear Hunting (Moulton) Privileges under Class A or Class B bear hunting license.
AB-2. Enterprise Zone (Rivard) Authorizes designation of an additional enterprise zone; requires designation of enterprise zones in rural areas.
