The Sippican Lands Trust, Inc. is a non-profit organization founded in 1974 for the acquisition, management and protection of natural areas in Marion. The ultimate goal of the Trust is to protect wildlife, ecosystems and natural resources as well as the history, heritage and beauty of the area. Open land not only provides us with a sense of tranquility and pleasure now, but the protection of this land is our legacy for future generations. |

Looking to get the relatives out of the house for some fresh air ... how about a walk on one of SLT's most treasured preserves.
Howland Marsh
The walk begins near #392 Point Road and goes through woodlands, which descend into wetlands and a 500 food wide marsh.
Brainard Marsh
Accessed through a break in the a stone wall on Delano Road where a bicycle rack awaits. The path drops towards the Weweantic, with a view of the Weweantic, Buzzards Bay and Cape Cod.
Gallison Woods
Located at the end of Inland Road, consisting of 11 acres of woodland abutting the Sippican River.
Peirson Woods
Located off Point Road, right near Allen's Point Road, offering 30 acres of woodland and wetland. There is a viewing platform for views into Blankenship Cove.
