The Sippican Lands Trust, Inc. is a non-profit organization founded in 1974 for the acquisition, management and protection of natural areas in Marion. The ultimate goal of the Trust is to protect wildlife, ecosystems and natural resources as well as the history, heritage and beauty of the area. Open land not only provides us with a sense of tranquility and pleasure now, but the protection of this land is our legacy for future generations. |

was purchased by SLT in 1998.
Features: In 1998, SLT purchased this 23 acres of forest. The woods of old growth pines, oaks and maples are criss-crossed with meandering trails and a small stream. Sippican natives traveled these woods during their summer migrations from their winter homes in Rochester and Middleborough.
Location: Located off Point Road where it meets the southern end of Delano Road.
