Please join us as this year's celebration by the sea will truly be just that. We will continue the addition of some great family fun features as they were so successful last year. There will be face painting, jugglers and magicians along with the mouth watering steamers, lobster, clam chowder and chicken.  Blu Lobsta is on board to entertain us for the evening and Spirits will be offering a selection of fine wine and beer along with its regular menu of soft drinks.

Stewart's Island
was generously donated to SLT in 2003.

stewart's island

Features:
Historically, Stewart's Island has played many roles in Marion's lore.  It's recognized as a site inhabited by native Sippicans.  The island has served as part of Marion's once prosperous salt works industry.  In the late 1800s it was the home of the Sippican Yacht Club, vestiges of which still stand on the town's western shore just south of the inner harbor.
Location:
Visible to the south east from Silvershell Beach. Accessible via kayak.

Our section dedicated to recent news relating to stewardship.

Calling all stewards ... this is the time of year we ask you to get out and visit your properties.  Take your photos. Submit your reports. We could not do this great work without you and appreciate all the time and effort you dedicate to SLT's preserves.  We have recently added the stewardship report form to the website and are already planning the annual stewardship cookout at the Saltonstall's!
