The Sippican Lands Trust, Inc. is a non-profit organization founded in 1974 for the acquisition, management and protection of natural areas in Marion.  The ultimate goal of the Trust is to protect wildlife, ecosystems and natural resources as well as the history, heritage and beauty of the area.  Open land not only provides us with a sense of tranquility and pleasure now, but the protection of this land is our legacy for future generations.

Kenney's Landing
An update on a project featured in our last newsletter.  The bridge at Kenney's Landing, crossing the vernal pool, providing access to the Sippican River is complete!  Please take some time and head to the end of Ichabod Lane and take a walk to the river.  If you are facing the end of the road, the entrance is on the left hand side.

As many of you know, SLT acquired a Conservation Restriction from the Town of Marion on land abutting our Ladner's Landing in 2007.  We have combined the acquisitions and are calling them Kenney's Landing.
