Erica Wheeler to perform at SLT's Annual Meeting

163 Front Street, Marion MA
The Sippican Lands Trust has something to sing at its 2007 annual meeting, and will do so with folk singer Erica Wheeler. Erica Wheeler has been a folk institution and was recently named on Yankee Magazine's "15 great things to do, places to go, thoughts to ponder this amazing season." She is a gifted storyteller, wonderful singer, insightful songwriter and very familiar with land conservation. Her songs beautifully illustrate the necessary connection we have with the open space in our local area, and the importance of its protection. |
"Insightful, imaginative songs ... her imagery can down relationships in a single verse." - The Washtington Post
"A top notch singer/songwriter whose best work coexists comfortably in the company of Shawn Colvin, Mary Chapin Carpenter and the other Wheeler (Cheryl) ... not everyone can turn their impressions into three minute works of art that resonate with compelling truths. Erica Wheeler is one of a rare few who can." - Berkshire Eagle
