In Memory of John Arnold, 1950 - 2012
We've recently learned about the passing of a dear colleague and true humanitarian, John Arnold, former Executive Director at Feeding America West Michigan Food Bank.
John was a pioneer in the food banking industry. He's considered the grandfather of mobile food pantries, including Good Shepherd Food Bank's own Food Mobile program. He was a leading national advocate for client-choice in food pantries and also a founding member of the national network of food banks. Most importantly, we can thank John for the profound influence his values and principles have had on others.
