Literary Karaoke: Greatest Hits of the '90s
Introducing your new favorite monthly series, inspired by your favorite guilty Friday night activity. Do you know whole passages of The Bridges of Madison County by heart? Or have a secret Grisham obsession? Think you've got literary chops? You've got three minutes to prove it by reading a passage from a book that will surprise and delight the crowd. Our theme for this month is Greatest Hits of the 90s, so you'll need to come prepped to read your favorite three minutes from a book published between 1990 and 1999. Sign-up starts at 6:30; come with a back-up passage just in case. It's better than waiting for a back room at Sing-Sing to belt Pat Benatar. BYOB! Facebook RSVP here.
