Monday, February 7, 7:30 p.m.: Peter Hessler presents Country Driving: A Journey Through China from Farm to Factory
Country Driving, now available in paperback, chronicles Hessler's 7,000-mile trip across northern China, following the Great Wall, from the East China Sea to the Tibetan plateau and tracking how the automobile and improved roads were transforming China.
