Dear :

Looking outside today, you might find it hard to imagine that these long, laid-back (and hot!) summer days will soon be giving way to the brilliant colors and cool breezes of autumn. Those wondrous Wisconsin fall days aren't far off, but there's still some great summer fun yet to be had in our inviting Harbor Towns this month!

Each of our Lake Michigan and Lake Superior communities offers its own special dose of amazing scenery, one-of-a-kind events, and memorable recreational opportunities.  But the one thing you'll find in common among them all is their warm, welcoming hospitality.  So don't wait... get out and relish these remaining days of summer and start planning a great fall getaway as well!  We're highlighting a handful of our Harbor Town communities this month, all of which are ready and waiting to welcome you to a great Wisconsin getaway any time of the year!

Sincerely,
Wisconsin Harbor Towns Association

The Rahr-West Art Museum celebrates Sputnikfest on September 8th to commemorate the chunk of Sputnik IV that fell from the sky 50 years ago in 1962. Build a robot; compete in the aluminum foil costume contest or watch Miss Space Debris hand over her crown. Then groove with David Cassidy at the Capitol Civic Centre on September 29th and rekindle teenage memories.
