Roman glass offerings

by Jackie Cohen

Cohen Turq Nk

Hand selected on a recent buying trip is our most stunning group of Roman glass jewelry ever.  These 2000 year old glass shards are found in the Middle East and are not large or whole enough to go into a museum.

Jackie is the best designer in the US making jewelry from this wonderful artifact. His styles are both wearable and enduring.  Click here to see our current assortment.

Covered jar

by Orient & Flume

Orient Flume Ocean Jar

This beautiful covered vase is called the water jar because of the ocean pattern.  It has often been bought for use as a burial urn.  The smaller reliquary can be a remembrance jar.  Don't need that?  Just enjoy its grace and beauty in your home.

Several more handblown glass art pieces and critters have just been received from this august glass blowing studio.  Click here to view.

Fresh new crystalline

by Jamie Kozlowski

Kozlowski green Vases
Stunning new forms and colors make up our latest addition from Jamie Kozlowski.  He is making a turn toward more functional pottery and we might not see very much of this beautiful work in the future.  Click here to see what we have in stock now and to check out our other crystalline artists Jon Price, William Melstrom, Frank Neef and Daryl Harwood.

Ribbet, ribbet!

Lampwork animals

Bisson Frogs

Scott Bisson creates great sensuous glass snakes, geckos, gators and frogs.  Years of practice with a torch is the only way to create critters that look like they can move.  More of these small creatures can be seen here.

Gulp, gulp
Handblown glass fish

Counts Small Fish
Paul Counts is famous for his glass teapots, but his fish are our passion!  Look closely and you will see it is made of twisted ribbons of colored glass.  Click here for other colors.

Turned burlwood art pieces

by Neal Devore

Devore Footed Bowl

Amboyna burlwood turned into a beautifully controlled bowl is highlighted with sap wood and ebony foot.  The pale yellow section is new growth next to the bark.  It is difficult to turn because the darker section is much more dense than the new growth.  Click here to see some more pieces in stock.
