2010 Niche Retailer of the Year
A big thank you to our customers who helped make this happen! Another big thank you to the artists who nominated us or have worked with us over our 33 year history. And, of course, a special thanks to our staff who diligently persevered over many years to gain this recognition.
Niche Magazine is an industry publication for the independent retailer. It targets those who sell mainly American artists' work. They have been giving these awards for over 15 years and we have been honored many times with being one of the top 10 in the nation. However, we have never before been number one. "We are thrilled to be a part of this top echelon of craft stores in the USA," states Donna Milstein, founder and owner with her husband, Art, of Hanson Galleries. In accepting the award Donna said, "This year's nomination holds the most honor since it has come after our most challenging year in business."
