Father's Day
Recent new items June 2010 | |
Benito and Doris Loera craft these boxes out of South Texas mesquite burl. We have just hand carried these boxes back from a Las Vegas buying trip just in time for Father's Day.
Mesquite logs are very gnarly and have natural undulations and many inclusions like bark, burls, and worm holes. The artists fill these natural voids with turquoise, malachite, copper nuggets, abalone shell, lapis, and even purple Mohave turquoise making stunning inlays. These unique boxes will add a special touch to any room and will be of particular interest to our box collectors. Each piece is signed and dated by the artist. Click here to see all the boxes in stock right now. |

Handmade paper wall art
By Cindi Mylynne

We are always excited to get in new work by one of this gallery's favorite artists, Cindi Mylynne. The "Fan Dance" above measures 20"x30" and can be hung horizontally or vertically. Her new triptych would look as great over a sofa as it would in a boardroom. Click here to see it.

Dinosaur bone decorates knives
Bill Wirtle hand picks real dinosaur bone fossils for quality and color! His knife handles are actually a section of petrified bone from a brontosaurus that lived over 150 million years ago. Coming from Utah, the colors vary dramatically depending on the minerals surrounding the bone as it became petrified.
Special packaging comes with this limited edition series so that the gift recipient can enjoy the story. Choose from money clips, pocket knives, and letter openers. They make great graduation or Father's Day gifts.
