ECO Jewelry has arrived!

WOW!  Recycled magazine pages are used to make these beads by hand, then they are matched with semi-precious stones to create  lightweight, colorful jewelry.  The Zindek Foundation employs many people to help in this process.  We're happy to offer this recycled Eco-friendly beaded jewelry.

The organization has found that only 25% of the 12 billion magazines circulated in the US in one year are actually recycled.  That leaves 9 billion copies that are trashed or incinerated.  We're happy to be able to be part of this recycling effort.

For now it's only available at our Uptown Park location.  Click here for more examples of the jewelry and the beads.  Yes, it's made in the USA.

Artist-designed jewelry

Elizabeth Garvin back in stock

L Frank Bfly

This artist sells out every Christmas so come in early for the best selection.  Elizabeth works in textured sterling silver and 18K gold starting at $135.  She accents her pieces with CZ's for a touch of glamour.  Birthstone colors can be special ordered.  Click here to see a sampling of her new work.

Sara Rivera new to the gallery

L Frank Bfly

Mokume-gane is the technique of melding several different metals together.   It is done by alternating types of metal into a single block then carving, hammering and pressing a piece to get the finished results.  Centuries ago the Samurai swords were made with this metal-working technique.  Mokume-gane translates to "eye of the woodgrain metal."

Sara has designed her jewelry to show off this difficult approach to jewelry making.  This asymmetrical necklace is quite flattering to wear and comes with harmonizing earrings.  Her work starts at $75.  Click
here to view just a few pieces from our in-stock selection.

Edwards Dos Santos heads up a staff of 80 (single mothers and people with disabilities) in Columbia who make these boxes.  They are painted renewable pine wood and come in a variety of designs.  It takes three months from wood to box since they dry, cut and paint each serial-numbered box themselves.  Click here to see others.

Dave Rizzo adds tabletop sculpture to his offerings

Here's a smart artist who listened to his audience!  Customers wanted his unique designs in smaller sizes for a more affordable  accent in their homes.  We still carry his 30" figures as well.  He works in cast bronze using forging techniques and patina finishes to give each piece its own personality.  He encourages special orders that will fit the size of your family.  Click here to see our current offerings.

Chinese Gaming Chip Jewelry

L Frank Bfly

It is hard to believe that we have been representing this artist's work for 20 years.  It remains one of our most popular because of its story, its rarity and its precious look.  We have just received 250 pieces of beautiful earrings, pendants, rings, bracelets and necklaces that are a treat to study.

Inge Sarosi is the leader in the nation in finding these 200 year old carved Mother-of-pearl chips and making very flattering pieces of jewelry that women love.  We are one of only six stores in the US to proudly display her work.  All of her pieces are set in 14K gold.  Click
here to see a few of the new pieces.  An excellent collection of her jewelry can be seen at both locations.

If you were ever thinking of starting or adding to your set of gaming chips, this is the year.

Hello friends of the gallery,

It's like Christmas here every day  when the delivery man shows up.  We hope you can find a moment to stop in one of our locations and have a "feelgood" experience this season.

We still have some tote bags to give away as a gift-with-purchase.  They were made especially for our 32nd birthday to give to our customers in appreciation of all their support.

Enjoy the cool weather!
