 "The Language of Color"
Houston Metal Arts Guild: juried show and sale
September 18 - Oct 31, 2008
Again this year, we are pleased to showcase the work of Houston area artists in the metal arts. The last exhibition displayed works in sterling silver, various gold colors and karats, with enamels and gem stones as well as felt, wood, and resins. We can hardly wait to see what this year's entries will hold. Mark your calendars for opening night event: Thursday, September 18th from 6 to 9pm.

"Elements of Earth and Fire"
Clay Houston Guild: juried show and sale. October 4, 2008 - December 28, 2008
Last year's Clay Houston show was such a success, we thought it was worth repeating. Demonstrations will be held at both locations from noon till 4PM on Saturday, October 4th. This show has been juried and has over 80 pieces of stunning pottery in the exhibit. There is a wide variety of styles and techniques, so there should be something of interest for everyone.
