Greetings!

Happy 2007!! A new year always brings with it new resolutions, goals and a plethora of races to choose from. We were blessed on New Years Day with warm temperatures and 65 runners who joined us in celebrating the new beginnings that come when the calendar page flips. As you begin your new season remember to take care of the things that we run out of time for such as stretching, new shoes, nutrition and most importantly your support crew....family.

New for Spring

Brooks, TP Technologies, Spinervals and more

Tri & Run Sports is thrilled to announce Brooks shoes to our line up. Along with shoes we will be highlighting their Nightlife garments including reflective hats, vests and blinking lights. TP Massage products continue to be important in injury repair and maintenance. Look for one day clinics coming in February where you have the opportunity to try out the products and learn how they can be beneficial.

Training Groups

Swim, Bike, Run

Looking to improve your sport? Bill Saunders and Donna Lott are beginning their 12 session tri clinic Jan 17th, Learn to Run programs are beginning Jan 22, 23 and 25 at One to One Fitness and the Picton Rec Plex. If you have not signed up already don't hesitate to call now.

Foot Care

Putting Your Body in Balance with Orthotics

The key to better health could be right under your ...toes. There are 52 bones, 66 joints 214 ligaments and 38 tendons and muscles in your feet. The average person takes 10,000 steps per day adding up to 100,000 miles in their lifetime. Come in for an assessment to see if orthotics will rebalance your body, reducing pain and discomfort and improve your quality of life.

The More the Merrier!

Disney and the Dirty Girl

Well we made quite a splash with our red and white Tri & Run jerseys and chatted with a lot of other Canadians or runners who have run in Canada and wanted to tell us how much they loved the area they visited. Aside from looking great we had a blast travelling as a group and cheering for each other along the way. If you would like to be part of the group fun, Tri & Run Sports and the Foot Shack are putting together teams for the Dirty Girl (guys welcome). It promises to be a lot of fun, and probably a little dirty! Register through the store. More details to follow.

Well I have more to tell you but have run out of space. In closing I want to remind everyone of the Freezin 5K in Belleville on Feb 24th. Applications are available at the store or at www.redballradio.com

Sincerely,

Sandy Musson
