Greetings!
We are THRILLED to announce the LASM has invited Rockmore to return 49 years after his first exhibition in 1964! That first effort was organized by Shirley Marvin, Adalie Brent (Director) & E. Lorenz Borenstein (Gallery owner). This new effort comes about thanks to LASM Curator, Elizabeth Weinstein, and a nice push from John Ed Bradley, "The Tomb of Rockmore", and our own Shirley Marvin. Turns out Shirley & Elizabeth's mother are good friends at St. James Senior Living Center so there was great lobbying taking place on many fronts! Thank you LASM for believing in Rockmore..... again!!!
Nomme de Guerre which is a Non Profit Film Company run by Hollywood film Editor TG Herrington (who lives in NOLA & NYC)
would like to partner with GEFQ and the Estate of Noel Rockmore on his next project, "The Rockmore Film Documentary."
We have met with him several times and introduced him to the artist heirs and things seem to be moving forward quickly.
Nomme de Guerre's first short Documentary "Mr. Okra" 2010 was a major success at Cannes, Sundance, NYU, LA, Dallas, Austin and garnered many awards and critical attention. Mr. Herrington also works in NYC editing successful commercials for major corporations (Verizon, State Farm - Lebron James, Avis, etc.). He was the editor on the HUGE Blockbuster remake of "The Mechanic" and he is also a Rockmore collector.
 | Rockmore at Tyson Foods | Tyson Foods has a Rockmore in their Head Quarters in Arkansas that was brought to our attention by their curator, Shannon Mitchell. Tyson's Executive Vice President Archie Schaffer, in charge of their division on charitable giving (cited as exemplary by Forbes Magazine) is a Rockmore fan and has invited us to Tyson's Headquarters to see their Rockmore in person and to brainstorm ideas. A research student at nearby University of Ft. Smith Arkansas contacted us at the same time about her project documenting a "Wailing Wall" Rockmore donated by Victor Potamkin to their school.
