Thanks to all the new folks who have joined us since the LaGrange Art Opening Oct. 28th - 30th. This is the Rockmore News, Auction & eBay Update and it comes whenever there is news on any of those fronts sometimes twice a month at the most. Click here if you missed the November Rockmore Monthly Newsletter with the LaGrange Show Summary and lots of GREAT party photos!
The Cape Cod Opening this week at the Cahoon Museum was a lot of fun and featured a room dedicated to nine of Noel Rockmore's portraits. On Tuesday November 22nd at 11AM, Rich & Tee Marvin will do a presentation on Noel Rockmore at the Cahoon Museum. It is a GREAT opportunity for our Cape Cod friends to see what it is that we have been working on so hard for the last 5 years!
"The Preservation Hall at 50 Show moves to The Old US Mint" is a great article by Claudia Kheel in The Examiner and features many Noel Rockmore works that were not in the Ogden Show. This would mean that Noel Rockmore is on display at three different venues in three different states at the same time which has not happened since the 60s.
The Rockmore web site has a new feature which is a Homepage for ALL of the Archived Newsletters since we started them in 2007. The Constant Contact Newsletter program we use made it quite easy to do. We will be entering their contest to "Win a Professional Video about our Success Story."
Why not? We can WIN this thanks to all of you and our 1110 Facebook Friends making it work and Noel Rockmore can have one more spotlight to shine on his artwork. He will need an Archive when the world discovers him and wants to find out all the details on how it happened. What better way than with the Newsletters that connected us to you and detailed what it has taken in 5 years to get Rockmore to the brink of discovery.
Hope springs eternal on The Rockmore Trail and it just feels like something REALLY BIG is right around the next corner. Thanks for being along for the ride and we will keep you posted.
These works from the Shirley Marvin Collection are available on eBay this Saturday Nov. 19 & Sunday Novenber 20th at 10PM Easterrn Time. Click on Each Image for descriptions and story about the work.
