Greetings from Louisiana, we have made it to here and are gathering family for the big wedding Saturday. We have hit the ground running on The Noel Rockmore Project and The Golden Era of the French Quarter Non Profit (GEFQ) which will one day soon fund a traveling French Quarter Exhibition featuring Noel Rockmore and more. We have some initial donations and funding after three days here and much more to come after the wedding. Will be meeting with International Curator Dan Cameron today to do some BIG picture vision planning on our various approaches on many different levels. The 1 hour Video from the Marfa Ballroom exhibition featuring Dan, "The World According to New Orleans," has been completed by Tee and is via this link. Reviews have been great, "professional look" has been a keyword especially for a hand held spur of the moment video capture of an event. We will be getting it lined up on public access next week, will keep you posted on air times. The week of the 4th we will be moving the Shirley Marvin Collection of Rockmore's to Lagrange GA for assessment, repair and selection for the Oct. 28-30th Lagrange Show. We will get PR going on this historic move of art from it's home for 40 years. The GEFQ will be funding that move and then working with the Lagrange Art Museum to see how we can help fund the inclusion of Rockmore's from collectors around the nation. This will be a major event, a three day weekend bash and all are invited to make a showing of support at this BREAKOUT event for Noel Rockmore. There are now 1095 Noel Rockmore Facebook Fans, up 600 from last month! These Rockmore's are on eBay this weekend June 25th & June 26th at 10PM ET! The FINAL 11 Rockmore's you will have a chance at for now, thanks to all of you and Noel Rockmore! All Rockmore eBay Results since October 2010 except last weekend's! On to the NOLA airport to pick up one son, who will hook up with two daughters returning from the Florida Bachelorette shark fishing party - bride to be caught a bull shark by herself - and then round up the other two kids and Shirley for wedding weekend! Will also attend Poet Laureate of Louisiana event tonight in NOLA to meet and greet and get the word out!
