Special thanks to the following people who made the article happen:
John Ed Bradley, the author, who believed in Rockmore and all of us Rockmore fans, he got the article to the magazine publisher that would let him do it justice. He is the author of the novels, "It Never Rains in Tiger Stadium" & "Restoration" (NOLA art mystery) and contributes articles to Sports Illustrated, Esquire & GQ.
Sid Evans, the publisher of Garden & Gun Magazine and his staff, who had the courage, skill & vision to do the article, give it 9 pages & 18 photos, move it up 2 months and bring Rockmore back!
Cedric Angeles, the photographer that got into the adventure and gave Gypsy Lou a ride home. Lou has moved again in Slidell and likes her new place even better and can't wait to see the article.
The Ballroom Marfa Texas Show with Rockmores opens March 18-19, 2011! Noel Rockmore will be a part of curator Dan Cameron's "The World According to New Orleans" show. It will be a most interesting, artworld educational and exciting adventure. Marfa is a very small well known Art Mecca town in the middle of outback Texas. Rich & Tee will be there for the week and their 25th Anniversary March 16th. Shirley & Marie(Tee's mom) are going too and several Rockmore & NOLA folks have indicated they might try and make the opening weekend. Details here if you are interested in being a part of a VERY Major Art EVENT for both New Orleans and Noel Rockmore. A big part of doing life is just showing up :<)
Tentative Unofficial Date for the START of The Rockmore World Tour in Lagrange GA is late Oct., 2011! This will be a three day opening multi venue Museum Rockmore Art Event Party to remember!

Shirley is doing well in Baton Rouge and is excited about the upcoming Marfa,Texas Art Show trip and seeing Rockmore recognition start to take place. She was thrilled to hear that we had been contacted by a PhD that would like her help in reseraching an article for an established Art Journal and that Graduate School Film students from a great program were interested in doing a documentary film with her help. She can't wait to see the article in the magazine!
The discovery of NOEL ROCKMORE has just begun!!!
