Greetings!
Thank you for being a part of our NEW Lagrange Contact list. We really enjoyed our last visit there and we are excited about the prospects of making something BIG happen for Rockmore in the "America's Greatest Little City." The winner of our Rockmore Book raffle at the Lion's Club presentation was Dona Sartin of Hutchinson Traylor - congratulations Dona! What a wonderful meal we had there and what an entertaining group that do so many good things for vision.
We had a great time meeting so many new folks and also renewing our friendships at the Optimist Club. We enjoyed meeting the mayor, Jeff Lukken, and many other Lagrange celebrities that come and go when you travel around with the Lagrange insiders. What a great time we had on our first visit to the Callaway Gardens with a sneak preview of the lights and the organ playing at the Chapel.
This is our basic newsletter below that we put out whenever we have interesting updates. We hope you enjoy it and we will let you know when we are coming back to Lagrange to make Rockmore magic happen.
Thanks again for your welcoming hospitality!
Rich & Tee Marvin
Tee has just put the finishing touches on a Rockmore mini movie that is designed to very quickly bring the interested observer up to speed on Rockmore in less than 10 minutes. Tee did this just in time for our presentations last week and it was very well received by all.
We had a very exciting visit down to Lagrange, Georgia and New Orleans, Louisiana last week. In Lagrange, we pitched the idea of a Rockmore Show to the Optimist Club, a packed full enthusiastic Lions Club and we also met with the Mayor of Lagrange & other important folks as we mobilized support.
Then it was on to New Orleans where we spent two full days with the photographer from the magazine that will be running the story on Rockmore early this coming year. Shirley and Gypsy Lou were with us as we did the Skyscraper, Preservation Hall, Johnny Whites and the Upperline Restaurant. It was a bit like herding wild cats but when you consider the year we all had, it was really a GREAT highlight and portends GOOD things for the future of Noel Rockmore and the Project.
There are some great opportunities to get Rockmores at Auction and on eBay. The LIVE eBay Auctions below start at $1. We hope you take full advantage of this window of opportunity before the word gets out to the masses and the demand increases.
