Greetings!

Hope you are SPRINGING into action. There is quite a lot of activity on the Noel Rockmore front as well as the art and music scene from the French Quarter. The BIG NEWS would be all of the jazz and French Quarter pieces coming up for auction in the next week. This will easily be the finest collection of Rockmore works ever offered in a one week period which indicates word is getting out. None of these works are from the Shirley Marvin Collection.

We recently had an exciting visit to New Orleans (Feb 3-10) which happened to coincide with the first Super Bowl win in New Orleans Saints history. Our original mission had been to celebrate our daughter Macy's birthday(28) and visit with all the Museums in New Orleans to let them know how we were progressing on The Noel Rockmore Project. It was a great informative trip and if you wish to know all the details you can certainly check our blog.

We also visited the Armory Dealer Show in New York City to try and get our arms around this part of the Art World and how it works. The bottom line is that these guys have had their worst year ever and were not too happy about it. It was nice to talk with the Forum Gallery where Rockmore had his last NYC Show and the Babcock Gallery where his mother Gladys Rockmore Davis had her show. We also visited Rockmore's Dealer from 1961-1966 Manny Greer of Greer Gallery and videotaped an interview with Manny for our next You Tube Video which is coming soon.

We have been hard at work on the arduous task of creating Wikipedia pages for Noel Rockmore, his mother Gladys Rockmore Davis and his father, Floyd Davis. This has been an eye opening learning experience fraught with peril at every turn (details next update). We will let you know when those pages are ready and also which important folks connected to the French Quarter are not on Wikipedia but perhaps should be.

In case you missed our very first You Tube Video - click here. Its a clip that gives you a feel for how we have been structuring the mechanics of the Noel Rockmore Project and features Shirley, Rich & Tee.

That is it for now. We have been working very hard trying to create the next level of The Noel Rockmore Project and we look forward to some Exciting - Big Announcements in the coming months.

Have a nice change of seasons,

Rich & Tee and Shirley Marvin
