Greetings!

Good to see you again!  I've taken over a year off from this newsletter to regroup and grow, and the time is right to reconnect here.

There are a lot of things that I have experienced this last year or so and I'm looking forward to sharing them with you to help you with your own transformation and growth.

Easing into Change
Are you on Board?

Every day I am reminded of the bigger picture. I take a holistic view of things--business, my family, and life in general. Every little thing is inter-related to tons of other things.

Because our paradigms are changing so much and so often, it can be easy to get overwhelmed with all of the changes. Here are some ways to look at change differently:
  • Expect change. Expect to be uncomfortable. That's where we grow. We've all seen people who have the same hairstyle they did in high school. Even though change can be scary, if your thinking shifts to "Change is good!" then some of that fear goes away.

  • Review. Once you get a handle on things, guess what?! Things change again. You will need to regularly review and update yourself, your systems and your thinking to keep things flowing and moving ahead.

  • Be open to change. Remember the Borg from the Star Trek series? "Resistance is futile!" Things will change, with or without you. Look at our kids with technology--they are not afraid to embrace the newest thing that comes along. In fact, they delight in trying new things out!

  • Enjoy the journey! It really is about the journey and not the end result. If the goal is all there is, the real lessons and opportunities are most often missed or overlooked.
My continued intention is to have everyone be more aware and conscious of who they are at their core, and how they spend their time and energy.

If you are challenged by the changes you are experiencing and would like some help navigating through them, I would love to help you
. Just give me a call!

Treasure the Trees

Here are some tips for Arbor Day:
  • The Nature Conservancy's Plant a Billion Trees campaign (nature.org) will plant 10 trees for you with a $10 contribution.
  • The Arbor Day Foundation plans 10 trees for every member who signs up, or you can get the saplings to plant them yourself (nature.org).
  • Check out events in your own area. If you are in the Phoenix area, check out the Urban Forestry program at http://phoenix.gov/FORESTRY/
