New York, NY - This Friday, October 23rd, a story of domestic violence premieres to a sold out audience at The Roy Arias Center. The Death of A Dream, an inspirational play written by Nancy Génova, a domestic violence survivor, directed by award winner Frank Pérez and featuring three extraordinary actresses: April Lee Hernández-Castillo (E.R; Freedom Writers); Rhina Valentín (La Reina), who has been seen in HBO's award winning short "Betty La Flaca"; and, Caridad De La Luz (La Bruja). The story centers around three women from different lifestyles and professions who become victims of different forms of violence. Death of A Dream explores why victims stay, how victims justify their perpetrators' actions and how sometimes victims become perpetrators. Death of A Dream combines the entertainment with the reflection delivering a message of hope. ABOUT THE PRODUCTION Produced by La Reina del Barrio Productions and Larimar Consulting LLC., The Death of a Dream's performances are from October 23rd through November 6th at The Roy Arias Theater Center on 43rd Street and 8th Avenue. First and foremost let me say THANK YOU for agreeing to be apart of Our Youth's 2009 AIDS is a DRAR WRAP it UP! event. An event in recognition of World AIDS Day, an event to honor those that have helped Our Youth and the GLBT community, and an event to raise funds for Our Youth and a local HIV organization. The award ceremony will take place Saturday December 5th at the Our Youth Center (St Johns Church) 155 North St Jersey City NJ. The event will start at 5pm PROMPTLY.

Corporate Tickets: $100 per person Registered Individuals for the 10/27/09 Reception will receive a: Who is eligible to receive the complimentary membership?
The membership shall be comprised of individuals in healthcare administration and managers or persons on a career path to healthcare management who support the AHHE mission and objectives. Healthcare consultants, employees in managed care companies, health care centers, government agencies, for-profit companies and full-time academicians also apply for this category of membership. The complimentary membership is also offered to students working less than 50% of the time and enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at a college or university.

We are happy to say with many new partnership coming to our organization, is a victory itself, and one of many partnership is The NY Cosmetology & Beauty Chamber of Commerce & NY Hispanic Cosmetology & Beauty Chamber of Commerce.
Please join us for the Educational Beauty Fair event in New York City, in which will be held on November 8, 2009 at 7 West 44th St.2nd floor. We are projecting to gather more than 200 beauty professionals as well as other vital businesses that provide the beauty industry with products and services.

Don't miss out this important event!! Students or Beauty Professionals who want to acquire or know how to get their NY State Licenses will be discussed by the Director of American Barber Institute by Mr. Alex Zholendz and other speakers includes Doctors and Beauty Teachers. The purpose of the event is to give our small businesses and beauty professionals an opportunity to network, glance of new or existing products as well as getting answer to important questions about health and State License. We are a non-profit organization was established to facilitate the cosmetology industry and salon business owner by providing them with the tools necessary to enhance their careers in the world of beauty. To foster them to strengthen their own business, prepare students to obtain their licenses, and job placements, as well as provide them with workshops, one-one business/students consultation, health insurance, updated information about beauty techniques and products. In addition, we are involved in the coordination of the Diva Spa in the Bronx Court since its initiation. Our organization has been working with women with domestic violence issues. Our objective is to provide these women with a day of beauty so that they can lift their self esteem and confidence. We also assist women who are single mothers and looking for a career.
