Tutor Spotlight - Hillary G.
We recently sat down with one of our most sought after tutors to talk a little bit about what's gets her educational juices flowing.
What do you enjoy most about tutoring? Team Tutor has given me the opportunity to inspire and instruct students on a "one on one" basis. This kind of instruction is very productive because there is an intense level of focus from both the student and teacher. I enjoy the variety of materials, actiivties and resources at my disposal to support student learning.
What subject(s) is your specialty?
My specialty is in Math because it has many elements, levels of thinking and it challenges students in various ways. Math can be co-curricular because I can incorporate reading and writing into it as well.
Why did you decide to become an educator?
My passion for education has always driven me to teach. I love when I make learning come alive for my students. Teaching empowers me to motivate and engage students in their academia.
