What's Growing?
Have you seen the beautiful flowers throughout the campground? Have you noticed the flower flag on the hill driving into the park? James, with his green thumb, has been hard at work to create a rainbow of colors for our guests to enjoy! We would like to thank James for his hard work and vision in the Landscaping Department.

Safety First!
Sign ups are here for you to become certified in CPR/AED.
- June 20th from 2-5 in CAC (24 openings)
- June 21st from 3:30-6:30 in CAC (12 openings)
We currently have about 30 of our staff that have certification through 2011. All pool hosts must be certified and we will open up the remaining spots to the rest of our staff. You will be paid for the training and it will be held in the CAC. Contact your supervisor or Marcia to sign up ASAP.
Lynn McHugh from the Recreation Lodge was certified last year and found herself putting her CPR skills to work. While she was picking up a pizza from BJ's she noticed quite a commotion. Apparently there was an elderly man unconscious on the floor. She went over and asked if anyone knew CPR and no one did. Lynn immediately went to work with chest compressions and the ex-firefighter lived!

Applause to the Staff
We have received more than the typical amount of letters from our guests praising the Normandy Farms Team. We are especially thankful because of the number of new staff still in training. Thank you to the veteran staff for mentoring the new staff and showing our guests that we are ALL here to make their vacation more than they expected!
"A few comments on my first experience at your facility, from being greeted at the driveway through check out, I would not be able to say one negative thing! The check-in staff was very patient with a real novice. Steve who gave me the guided tour of the cabin could not have been nicer. The girls 'manning' the gate at the inside pool could not have been more welcoming to me and my motley crew. The girls in the store were so very kind, again, the man at the booth helping with our wood purchases and making the kids laugh with the "trick or treat" lollipops. The folks at the snack bar, again helping me with my worm purchase, who knew you ordered them by the dozen!? My family and I are true Normandy Farms fans! Keep up the exceptional work, please! Sincerely, Dorothy Kelley P.S. Forgot to mention, Ranger Steve's visit on Saturday evening to replace a bulb on the deck stair that HE noticed was out as he drove by. WOW!"
