For a few days in August we experienced a flurry of interest in the Beachsand Snowflakes that was a new kind of nor'easter blizzard. It was so exciting! We ran out of inventory and the artist was buried in orders.

 

Our snowflake ornaments, made from Kennebunk Beach sand, were the envy of beach bums from surrounding towns.  Obviously, an expansion was in order and we now have Beachsand Snowflakes from Goose Rocks Beach, Drakes Island Beach, Wells, Ogunquit and the three York Beaches.

 

The hand-sculpted ornaments are very labor-intensive as you can imagine. With the holidays coming, we're working closely with the artist to keep up with demand.
