A most moving Bridges program |
 |
Last November's Bridges program, Join the Dance! focused on Minnesotans with physical disabilities. Presented in partnership with The Courage Center, Dance Exchange, Young Dance and VSA Minnesota, Join the Dance! paired Courage Center dancers with Dance Exchange and Minnesota Chorale counterparts in a stirring celebration of the human spirit. The luminous choral music featured in the program included a new commission, Sagitta, by composer Mary Ellen Childs. Through performances at Courage Center, SPCO Center, and St. Richard's Catholic Church in Richfield, Join the Dance! highlighted the power of music and movement to break barriers and connect individuals with one another and the larger community.
