Growing the Roots Campaign Approaching Goal
$40,000 needed by New Year's Eve.

"A working landscape.  Local food source.  Environmental and food educator of all ages. Steward of town forests and fields.  Partner with urban youth organizations. Provider of food access to underprivileged communities. This is Land's Sake."

Farm Sign - Thank You Version

Dear ,

You may have read this introduction in the Town Crier article yesterday, and you may agree that "This is Land's Sake." I can also imagine hearing you say something entirely different.  One friend said "It's where my kids can get 'tomato juice dirty.'"  Another said "It's my favorite place to walk away into peacefulness and beauty and earth smells," and another loves the colors in the fields and touching the plants, from maple sugar trees in the winter to strawberries in June and squash in the fall.

What do you say about Land's Sake?

If you were able to answer that question without hesitation, then Land's Sake provides something special to you. We'd like to hear from you, and we'd like to be able to provide that same experience and more in 2012 and beyond.

Please support that vision, that aspiration, and your own interest in Land's Sake and our community by contributing to Land's Sake's Growing the Roots Campaign today.

Many people have spoken words of affection for Land's Sake while surprisingly few have made a contribution. Please be unusual and make a contribution to Land's Sake. All donations are tax deductible and can be made online or by mail to:

Land's Sake,Inc.

27 Crescent Street

Weston, MA, 02493

Of course, if you have questions, we'd be delighted to answer every one of them. There's a lot of information on the Land's Sake web site, or you can contact me, Executive Director
Eric Kreilick (781.893.1162) or Board President Alyson Muzila (781.690.0592).

Wishing you the best of the season,
