Greetings!
It's my pleasure to welcome you to September with news
from our summer's activities: we've
created a unique social game to compete for the longest lifespan; an installation of simulated water molecules in a UK health care facility;
and an interactive LCD wall for the corporate headquarters of a Norwegian retail holding company. Also scroll down to read about talks Scott Snibbe is giving
in New York and San Francisco, new job openings, and a pirate movie that
amateur Swiss filmmakers created using a Snibbe installation in Switzerland.

Extend your life by 43 years
|
|
Did you know wearing a helmet can extend your life by 43
years? In cooperation with Thinc Design, we recently installed Health Choices
at the Connecticut Science Center. This tabletop social game allows up to six
people to play a game together where they compete for the longest lifespan. In
several rounds, people make life choices about diet, education,
and risky behaviors. The game plays out in a retro eight-bit style as people use their arms to grab icons representing health choices, then quickly push icons away to a
neighbor if the result shortens their expected lifespan.
Watch the video on our website, and read an extended blog posting on health and exercise games recently written by Scott Snibbe.

Three Drops for UK's
National Health |
|
In cooperation with the UK's brilliant arts organization FACT,
Snibbe Interactive installed Three Drops at the Earle Road Medical Centre in Liverpool, UK.
People are often scared, lonely, and bored (not to mention sick) when going to health-care
facilities. Recognizing this, more and more health-care administrators are
considering interactive social experiences like ours that can bring
entertainment, social engagement, learning, and fun to their visitors, while
respecting their states of body and mind. Watch the video here.

Snibbe Interactive, under the creative direction

new corporate headquarters. Reitan is the holding company for Seven-11,
HydroTexaco and other retail and wholesale franchises in Norway. Play the video courtesy of Expology, by clicking on the image below.
