Greetings!

As the Northern Hemisphere heads into autumn, and many are experiencing financial turmoil, I wish you well. We are keeping busy in San Francisco serving museum and advertising clients worldwide and I'd like to share one of our projects with you. Snibbe Interactive just completed our largest interactive branding experience to date at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, with a multi-projector floor/wall interactive to encourage caring for the environment that reached up to a thousand visitors per hour. Please read below for all the details.
OUR ENVIRONMENT: GLOBAL GARDEN AT THE BEIJING 2008 OLYMPICS
Woman growing virtual flowers at Beijing Olympics

In cooperation with exhibit designer Thinc Design and corporate communications firm Sandra Arnold, Inc., Snibbe Interactive created Our Environment - an entire room of interactivity - for one of the 2008 Beijing Olympics sponsor's pavilions. The centerpiece of Our Environment is a large oval of projected flowers, the "Global Garden" that fills the central floor of a room where visitors' cooperative interactions nourish virtual flowers into vibrant, thriving multicolored beds. Flower projections from the floor creep up into wall projections, connecting visitors' actions with an urban oasis including a bamboo forest interspersed with digital projections of the elements: light, wind, water, and earth. Onto these elements appear inspiring and thought provoking statements on the environment and personal responsibility in English and Chinese.
