Navigate Customer Retention Efforts

with a Lifecycle Map

How would your customer retention look if your customers had someone to personally guide them through the process of doing business with you?

The guide would be the first person to make contact, hold the customer's hand through sales and the first transaction, make recommendations, answer questions, ensure customer satisfaction, and wave goodbye as the person left. The guide would follow up, remember the customer's name and any information that was shared during their interactions and be the first person to greet the customer at the door when they return.

While this scenario is unrealistic for most business transactions, thinking through the possibilities while drawing out a lifecyle map will help identify realistic opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and retention.

Case Study:

Winter Swimmer Retention Campaign

Undawata Club LogoLove to Swim and Tumble School offers year-round indoor swimming lessons, but during winter months, enrollment is typically lower than during summer months. Students weren't sticking to their lessons throughout the year.

Continuity of lessons is critical for the child's progress, so to keep children and parents excited about swimming year-round, we helped the school develop initiatives to promote swimming during the winter months and reward students who "stay in school".
