At a modest price and incredible quality, this small production Stag's Leap District cab is a whale of a find. With dark cherry and raspberry fruit, exotic spice, leather and silky tannins, it takes awhile for your senses to catch up to all the rich flavors that take time to unfold from this intense blockbuster. This wine is so outstanding, you may want to mount the empty bottle on your wall as a trophy. A great catch.
