goal orientation, and take charge approach to life! "

"Hosting the IIABKC intern in our Personal Lines Department was a pleasure.  It allowed

us to mentor the future of the industry and explain to this bright individual the professional

opportunities the insurance industry holds. We wish Amarin a promising future in insurance if he chooses this career path."

Linda Zook, VP, Marketing Manager,

Parker Smith Feek

"After recently participating in the IIABKC Intern program we feel it would be beneficial for any member agency to be involved in no matter the size.  In addition to providing the intern with knowledge of the endless opportunities in our industry it also gives participating agencies a sample of the kind of talent graduating from college.  We considered involvement in the program one way of giving back to our industry."

 IIABKC Amarin Sam

"The IIABKC internship gave me an opportunity to learn about business and insurance from real professionals in the insurance industry.  The internship has been tremendously beneficial, providing an opportunity for me to grow both as a professional and an individual.  During my time with the IIABKC, I learned the ins and outs of the insurance industry, increased my understanding of business, and strengthened my professional mindset.  Most importantly, I connected with intelligent, dedicated individuals who inspired me to move forward in my endeavors." Amarin Sam, BA Candidate, Business Administration.

"Hosting an intern from the IIABKC has been a positive learning experience

for GUS over the past couple of years. We enjoy hearing about their interest in the insurance industry and occupational goals. Their thoughts and motivations

prove beneficial as we strive to create an environment conducive with the needs and learning styles of tomorrow's college graduate. Additionally, their feedback helps us identify specific coursework which may benefit our organization in the years ahead. We look forward to hosting futureinterns and appreciate the support of IIABKC."

Tyler Stoddard, Griffin Underwriting Services,

Bellevue

"It was a pleasure to be part of the IIABKC internship program. Our staff invested a couple hours for an important cause and in the process

met an intelligent college student. Perpetuation is such an important issue that will impact the future of the independent agency system and ultimately the values of our books of business. We all need to invest some time spreading the word about the amazing possibilities that are

available in our industry."

Daniel Holst, Executive V.P, IIABW
