    WINForum Spring Clinic 2010
WINForum-Sping

The WINForum held its Spring Clinic on March 5, 2010, at the University of Washington's Bothell Campus. Emily Edison, M.S., R.D., UW Sports Dietitian and Dr. John O'Kane M.D., Associate Professor of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine and UW Head Team Physician, presented to a group of about 30 coaches and athletic trainers. The clinic, which was titled Weighing in on Sports Nutrition: Strategies for Helping Build High Performance Bodies, discussed issues of athlete weight gain; pop culture and body image; and the female triad. In this photo, Emily Edison and Dr. O'Kane enjoy a health game day lunch prepared by Safeway. The lunch, which included a sandwich, pasta salad, piece of fruit, and milk is a perfect meal to help obtain peak athletic performance.
